Website updates

No sign of tulips here, but soon we hope.  Just wanted you to know I did some tips for April on my website today, http://www.dianegaudynski.net/

I'll try and update my schedule and new workshops soon.

Thank-you for all your tips. My free-motion quilting improved so much after just reading your blog and on-line tips, that I bought one of your books (love it!!). I can't wait to buy the products you recommend to really get started. Thank-you!!!♥

Diane, Thanks for the April tips. One thing I would appreciate you addressing is the "film" that silk sometimes leaves behind. How do you clean your machine? My machine is always getting a gentle brush out in the bobbin area and oiling frequently but I don't know what do do about the silk residue left behind. HELP! Thanks. Happy Easter!

Marty, as far as the film or sticky residue left by silk thread, just use a Q-tip to gently swab areas where you see it. It is most important in the bobbin area, but every 3 hours is more often enough. If you are changing the bobbin, re-threading, switching thread or needle, then check. I keep on top of it so I don't get any major buildup. Being aware that it can happen is important, and then just keep an eye out for it.

Darker colors seem to leave more than the lighter ones.

HTH!
