Go Pack Go!

Oliver has his cap on, his nachos ready, the tv all set for the Super Bowl!  His team, the Green Bay Packers, are ready to roll and we are rooting for them.  After the horrible blizzard this week, it will be good to relax and watch the game and be so glad we are safe and snug and warm.  Things are ok here in Wisconsin with even more snow falling, and we are ready to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Wisconsin where it belongs!

Hope all of you survived the terrible weather too, and soon I'll write about quilting things, but first, we settle back to watch our guys play in the Super Bowl!

These transplanted Wisconsinites are cheering for the Packers, too! With all the snow they got in Dallas, they should have just played in Green Bay!
Enjoy the game. Stay warm. Go Pack!!!

Game? What game? Who's playing?

He looks like such a sleepy angel in that cap, but it took every one of my years of cat experience to get this photo! His pose lasted about 2 seconds...........LOL!

Very cute Oliver. You've got this So. Cal. native rooting for the Packers. Enjoy your nachos!

Oliver says thanks for the support! He really, really wants the Packers to win....! Squeak! (He still only squeaks, in a wide variety of intonations, but no real "meowing" yet.

Glad the packers won! And, thing everyone in the US was munching on nachos, wings, and pizza. (Diet time for sure.)

Not quite sure how you got Oliver to let you put that hat on him though. He must be a very trusting soul. He does look adorable.

Diane, I don't know... Oliver might be wearing the hat, but his eyes look like some Steeler fans I know. LOL ... look forward to seeing more blog time from you, hope you're better and like all of us, even folks in Kentucky looking forward to spring.

Love the picture. Just surfing blogs and had to respond to the Cat in the Pack Hat. My Toby would never leave it on. I live in Green Bay and drove past the stadium Sunday night on my way home from a party. WILD. Honking horns like you've never heard, people walking out in the street, high fiving those in cars. No one paid attention to street lights. Crazy, but glad I did it. NOW, if I could just get the video to download! Grr. Go PACK!

Marty, his eyes do look a bit ....? Steeler-y? He didn't know what was on his head and was scrunching down. It was an adult's cap, but the back was folded in so I could put it on him without it covering his eyes. It didn't last long though.

I had pleaded for a tiny cheesehead or a cat jersey but none appeared, so had to "make do" on my own with materials at hand, story of my life I guess. But it worked and he was the good omen for the game. He loved the game, thinks things are way to calm now.

Today is the big welcome home in Green Bay, although as laobeau described, it has been continually wild there since the game. Oliver plans on watching this too. Sans cap.
